The q-b Mediatektur Holding GmbH deals in the acquisition and management of investments in their own name and for their own account in the field of new media, management- and investment advice, the acquisition and management of their rights in their own name and for their own account as well as the provision of provider services and architectural services.

Besides the common marketing and communication purposes, this website (“q-b.de” and all of its subdomains) aims to (1) provide registered members and guests access to our secure community domains (2) inform visitors of our guidelines and values. This includes the here stated privacy and cookie policies. Similar to the building principles of the GDPR, we advocate transparency and open, accessible means of communication. Therefore, we appreciate any feedback or questions you may have regarding our policies.

“Non-Personal Information” or un-identifiable information pertaining to visitors or unidentified Users that may be available to us or collected automatically via the use of their Services. As indicated by the name, such non-personal information does not enable the identification of individual Visitors or Users from how it was collected. A majority of this Non-Personal Data collected by us consists of technical and aggregated user information – for example, Visitor’s and User’s browsing and click-stream activity, session heatmaps and scrolls, non-identifying information regarding User’s and Visitor’s device, operating system, internet browser, screen resolution, language and keyboard settings, internet service provider, referring/exit pages, date/time stamps, etc.

The personal information collected by us mainly consists of the details provided to us by our Users, Visitors, Members, and Guests during the course of the creation, authentication, and population process of their account and profile and/or the subscription to updates and newsletters. Depending on the instance, this personal information can include their contact details (e.g., name, email address, or phone number), details regarding their browsing and usage session (IP-address, Geo-location and/ or device unique identifier), details regarding associated third-party accounts (e.g. the email address, or username for a connected PayPal, Google, or Facebook account), and/-or correspondents to their account (including those that may have been uploaded through Services). To avoid any reasonable doubt, non-personal Information that is connected or linked to Personal Information (for example, in order to improve the Services we offer) is deemed and treated by us as Personal Information as long as such a connection or link exists.

As we are using Wix.com as a platform for our Website and Services, Wix.com collects, processes and transfers and processes the Personal Information of our Users on our behalf.

In particular, we may use Wix Apps or other Apps provided by Wix’s App Market. Wix.com goes to considerable length to ensure the protection of their Users’ and Users-of-Users’ and contractually prohibits all Third-Party developers from combining collected Personal Information across websites and Services and sharing them with other Apps installed on our Website. 

Wix, however, may still access and use the information collected and stored across different User Websites and Apps, as necessary for providing and improving its Services.

q-b.de is hosted on the Wix.com platform. Wix.com provides us with an online platform that allows us to provide our Services. Your data may be stored through Wix.com’s data storage, databases, and Wix.com applications. They store your data on secure servers behind a firewall. 

Please note that, where applicable, all direct payment gateways offered by Wix.com and used by our company adhere to the standards set by PCI-DSS as managed by the PCI Security Standards Council, which is a joint effort of brands like Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover. PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of credit card information by our store and its service providers.
